What happens at the end of the trial

Sync pauses and Home tells you why, in one sentence. Setup, field mapping and Home keep working. Paste the key you received and sync resumes on the next run. Before a key ends you see a warning for 30 days, and after it ends sync continues for 14 more days while you renew.

How do we get started?

Follow the setup guide to install the package in your Optimizely site. Then connect inriver, review the suggested field mappings and preview conversions in the editor. Setup checks guide you through your first sync.

Which languages does SmartBridge handle?

Any languages your inriver channel uses. In setup you match each inriver language to a shop language or skip it.

Does our product data leave our infrastructure?

No. Sync runs inside your Optimizely site and reads from your inriver tenant. The AI step uses your own Azure OpenAI and sends field names and types, never product data. Nothing passes through us.

What do we need to run it?

Optimizely CMS 12.22 or later with Commerce 14.44 or later on .NET 8, an inriver tenant with REST API access, and Azure OpenAI in your own subscription for the AI-filled mapping.

How does the trial work?

Create a test key in the customer portal to try all features on your shop for 60 days from the date the key is issued. No payment card is required. Development and demo sites on free hostnames need no key.

How do we get a test key?

Create your account, verify your email and choose Test key in the customer portal. Enter your shop hostnames to create a 60-day key. It is available immediately under My licenses, ready to paste on the License page in the CMS.

Are test and staging sites free?

Sites on localhost, IP addresses, .local, DXP platform hostnames and Azure App Service hostnames are always free. Test and staging sites on your own domain are covered by the same key as your live shop, at no extra cost.

What happens when we upgrade an existing site?

Your mapping and settings carry over. Check the release notes and confirm that your license covers the installed version and shop hostnames. Your keys remain available under My licenses in the portal.

Where do we find instructions?

The customer portal has a step-by-step setup guide. The plugin checks your connections and explains mapping issues in the editor. Documentation is also available in the public GitHub repository. If something does not work as documented, report it to contact@getsmartbridge.com.
